The second life cycle of the Hachis after molting from a Caretaker Hachi, and one of the five potential types of Hachi the molting can result in, the newborn Roaming Hachis are the food gatherers of the hive colony, instinctively leaving the nest to fly and gather food on the first day they are born. They can grow up to fifteen centimeters in length and spend their entire lives gathering food. Though one of the largest insect species, they are extraordinarily friendly despite their perceived scowl. Often captured and taken on as pets and chirp when happy, they adapt tremendously well to captivity and no longer produce the hormone that allows other Hachi to find them. They are exclusively male and the only ones in the Hachi brood that can mate.
