Walking Piats use their appendages to glide swiftly over surfaces and use a unique attack to quickly disable attackers or food sources. They use their body to funnel out a tremendous amount of sound energy through its mouth that can physically pierce flesh and scales with sound. Extremely loud and brief, the noise generated sounds like a gunshot at distance. In their infancy they hone their skills to generate the sounds to by the time they are adults they have mastered this ability.
