Cydigrades have a unique hunting method that is surprisingly effective. Completely blind, it uses the electrical pulses it can sense in the water to find other creatures and uses its massive and powerful jaws to snap closed so quickly a pressure wave kills anything it does not rip apart. Swimming with its jaws wide open, they are muscularly spring loaded to close with enough force to create a shockwave as powerful as getting shot by a cannon.
