This ancient Sumerian sculpture features a stylized head with an elongated black neck or base. The piece is crafted from what appears to be clay or limestone, with a pale pinkish-beige coloring on the head portion. The sculpture displays distinctive characteristics of Sumerian art, including simplified facial features with narrow, slit-like eyes and a pronounced open mouth. On either side of the head are elaborate ear ornaments resembling architectural columns with detailed linear patterns in a reddish tone. The surface shows signs of age with areas of wear and patina, particularly visible on the black base section which appears weathered. The overall composition is frontal and symmetrical, mounted on what appears to be a modern display stand.
